GSV, the Denmark-based subsidiary of rental company Kiloutou, has appointed Anne Rømer as its new chief financial officer (CFO).

Rømer, who was most recently the head of accounting and finance at DSB Finance, will be responsible for strengthening international collaboration with the entire Kiloutou Group and reinforcing growth plans in Denmark.

She is also the vice chairman and audit committee chairman for private banking company Nordea Kredit, a post which she had held since 2016.

Frank Olesen, managing director, GSV, said, “I’m looking forward to building on Anne’s high level of professionalism and strategic vision.

“We’ve been looking for someone who doesn’t just do the accounts, but who, together with the management team, can look to the future, contribute to our ambitions in the Danish market and capitalise on the considerable advantages we enjoy as part of a strong European family.”

Rømer added, “During my career, I have had the privilege of working in a variety of sectors and businesses where I have had the opportunity to identify and develop growth opportunities through effective financial management and strategic planning.

“I see a clear fit between my experience and the opportunities at GSV. The company already has a solid foundation and an impressive track record of growth. I’m looking forward to helping to build on this success, alongside a team dedicated to customers in the construction sector.”

GSV has 22 branches across Denmark and employs more than 500 members of staff. The company was acquired by France-headquartered Kiloutou in 2022.
