New depot for Ardent

01 March 2016

Ardent Hire Solutions, the new company formed by the merger of One Call Hire and Fork Rent, is opening a depot in Middlesbrough, UK.

The 1.5 acre site is the company’s first depot in the North East, and is part of an expansion plan that is backed by £100 million (€131 million) of new investment.

The company said it aimed to open additional depots in the coming months, adding to its eleven existing depots across the UK. Ardent is also investing significantly in new equipment.

CEO Steve Corcoran said, “Our new Middlesbrough depot breaks new ground in the North East, and shows that we are serious about our aim to make Ardent Britain’s premier plant hire company.

“We will be able to offer customers in the North the same responsive, strategic service that we offer in the rest of the country, making Ardent a significant national player in the rental market.”
