Alexander Doujak, chairman of the Palfinger supervisory board, has resigned from his position, the Austria-based crane, materials handling and access equipment manufacturer said.

Following the announcement, Hubert Palfinger has been promoted to chairman of the supervisory board and Hannes Palfinger becomes deputy chairman.

Doujak has more than 18 years experience at Palfinger, in positions that include management consultant and chairman of the supervisory board. The supervisory board and the management board expressed their regret on Doujak’s retirement and thanked him for his support, the manufacturer said.

Hubert Palfinger has held a seat on the supervisory board since 2005, as deputy chairman since 2008.
