Palfinger Area CIS, the Russian branch of Palfinger Platforms, has teamed up with Belarus-based Eureka to customise truck mounts for the Eastern European market.

It will see the manufacturer's new P200 A mounted on a 3.5 tonne Kamaz 43502 4x4 truck.

Palfinger Platforms' managing director Stephan Kulawik said: "We are proud that we have implemented this project with Eureka and Kamaz. The P 200 A Kamaz is the first truck access platform that combines the exceptional quality of Palfinger height access technology with a successful, simple design and a viable market price to be available on the Russian market."

The new 20 m truck platform was recently showcased at the Comtrans exhibition in Moscow. According to Palfinger, contacts established at the exhibition showed that the product will open up new markets for the partners.

The P200 A was first launched at Bauma in April this year. Since the exhibition, 100 units have been sold.
