Peab CEO steps down

25 March 2013

Swedish construction and civil engineering contractor Peab has announced that Jesper Göransson has taken office as acting CEO with immediate effect.

Mr Göransson replaces Jan Johansson while the company’s board continues its search for a new permanent CEO.

Peab’s chairman of the board Göran Grosskopf announced that Mr. Johannson had stepped down from the role of CEO on March 25, 2013.

“We have made this decision in agreement with Jan Johansson, who has made a great contribution in many roles for Peab. Jan will continue to be committed to the Group, including the board of associates,” Mr Grosskopf said.

The acting CEO Jesper Göransson has worked in Peab since 1996 and has held such senior posts as executive vice president and been a member of the Peab Group Executive since 2006.

Peab’s vision, strategy and business plan remains unchanged.
