To comply with current and impending safety regulations and to eliminate manual handling of kerbstones and other loads, Penny Hydraulics in the UK has introduced the new Swing Lift Kerb Lift. It has a lifting capacity of 250 kg, making it suitable for all standard kerbstones, which typically weigh around 67 kg.

Penny says the Kerb Lift can be fitted to almost all vehicles, including vans, flatbeds, dropsides and tippers, without the need for welding or other modification to the chassis or bodywork. It has a 2 m boom with dual pivot points to allow up to 4 m of kerbing to be laid without moving the vehicle.
