Austria-based manufacturer, Penz Crane, has appointed Jason Lowthorpe as area manager for timber loading and recycling cranes in the UK and Ireland.

Prior to his new position, Lowthorpe worked for Atlas Cranes for more than 20 years. In his new role, Lowthorpe will work with UK and Ireland appointed Penz Crane dealers.

Mario Bortolussi, Penz Crane international sales manager, said, “Jason’s appointment demonstrates our level of commitment to growing business in the UK and Ireland. He has extensive hydraulic crane experience and is very well informed and knowledgeable of customer’s needs.”

Jason Lowthorpe added, “I am looking forward to establishing Penz Cranes as a high quality alternative to those currently available in the UK and Ireland market. They are superior in terms of quality and reliability – the factory support and back up available through the dealer network and from the factory is very impressive.”
