Italy based Platform Basket officially launched the 27m working height 27.14 at Bauma; representing the largest tracked platform in the industry able to travel through a standard single doorway, says the company.

It was first presented at the manufacturer’s 10th anniversary celebrations on 8 April at its new headquarters in Poviglio, Reggio Emilia.

The model is 88 cm wide in stowed position and has a hydraulic width extension system for extra stability while driving.

This articulated boom incorporates a double pantograph, telescopic boom and fly jib, providing 10m up and over capability. Load capacity in the basket is 230kg. Maximum outreach is 15m.

Its vertical lifting system allows the basket to be lifted flush with a wall up to 10m, while its safety system automatically reduces the outreach through continuous monitoring of the basket.

Another feature is the multiple stabilisation set-up, allowing independent positioning of the stabilisers, but always monitoring the side outreach. Of the full working height, 27m is unrestricted, as is the 400 degree turret rotation. Basket rotation is 90°+90° degrees, with a quick and easy basket attachment.

Standard on the radio remote controlled machine is double speed driving, air, water and 220/110 V attachments in the basket, as well as automatic recovery button and the self-diagnostic system. GPS and telematics-assistance are optional.

The machine is available in hybrid and electric version using Lithium.
