Point of Rental makes software acquisition

U.S. rental software specialist Point of Rental Software has acquired RentalTrax from Danish software company WIOsoft.

RentalTrax has offices in Denmark and the US and customers in Europe, North America and Australasia. It is a Cloud-based system that was was originally developed by the owners of a Florida-based events rental company, Event Decor Direct.

IRN understands that existing RentalTrax users will be migrated to Point of Rental’s Rental Essential system over the coming six months.

It is the company’s third software acquisition in the last two years following that of PartyCAD earlier this year, and of Higher Concept Software’s Syrinx software in 2016.
