Böcker in Germany has recently developed the AHK 27 / 1200 aluminium trailer crane that uses a closed and seamless tube profile for the boom. Maximum capacity is 1200 kg and its weight is low enough to be towed by a car. Operation is by a DECT radio remote control, which can also display error analysis functions. The crane's slewing range is monitored electronically and the continuously variable proportional-hydraulic control is designed to give precise movements of the crane motions.
