Remax launch for SBM Mineral processing

04 March 2013

SBM Mineral Processing will have a new mobile impact crusher on its stand at bauma in April in the shape of the new Remax 12 Maxi, a 41 tonne medium unit that the company said has a completely redesigned material flow that eliminates the possibility of blockages. The discharge belt below the screen can be either fixed or rotatable by 180° to increase stockpile capacity and the machine features a new and revised control concept that provides simplified operation as well as automatic feed hopper locking. The machine is dimensioned to make compatible with dolly transport and its diesel/electric drive meets the latest emissions legislation as well as making it economical to run, said SBM.

SBM also said that the final stages of the integration of its acquisition of MFL was completed at the beginning of 2013 with the merger of the former’s sales, design and after sales service into the SBM organisation. As an example of the combined areas of expertise of the two former separate operations, the control system of the Remax discussed above comes from SBM while the remote control that provides additional functions comes from what was MFL.
