Dutch rental specialist Bredenoord has teamed up with generator manufacturer DBR - also based in the Netherlands – to offer a new range of rental generators for the offshore industry.

The marine and offshore units, which will be available from the start of 2016, are being launched at the Offshore Energy exhibition in Amsterdam on 13 and 14 October.

Bredenoord said the new gensets can easily fulfil the requirements of the marine and offshore industries, including harsh environments and heavy duty conditions. They can also be used in wind energy and petrochemical applications.

Jaap Fluit, CEO of Bredenoord said: “We are very pleased that we can offer the offshore industry a higher flexibility with our new fleet. The partnership between Bredenoord and DBR makes it possible to quickly meet the needs of our offshore customers, 24 hours a day.”

Bredenoord has five offices in Europe and more than 75 years of experience in supplying temporary, permanent and mobile power systems.

DBR has manufactured generator sets up to 4000 kVA for the offshore, marine and dredging industry for over 50 years
