MEWP specialist Riwal has announced that Anna-Lena Berg is its new country manager for Sweden.

Berg was previously CEO of industrial vacuum equipment manufacturer Dustcontrol AB, and was head of sales and business development at Cramo Sweden for more than seven years.

Riwal said the “seasoned insider in the AWP business” would help the company take advantage of future opportunities in the country.

Pedro Torres, CEO of Riwal, said, “With Anna-Lena’s strategic background, we can steadily expand our presence in Sweden and aim to become the preferred supplier for working at heights.

“Her extensive experience, combined with her knowledge of aerial work platforms and the rental market, will allow us to further shape and accelerate our growth strategy.”

Berg said, “I will continue to implement and develop the Riwal Way - to provide our customers with the best possible customer experience and innovative solutions for working at height.

“Sustainable and profitable growth is our aim. We want to achieve this by adapting to future demands from the market, in which the emphasis is increasingly on sustainability and the ability to offer pragmatic digital services.

“At the same time, we must cherish our unique specialist knowledge and expand where necessary.”
