Riwal opens fourth UK location

Riwal has opened its fourth UK rental location, in Wigan close to Manchester, to serve the North West region.

Riwal UK already has branches in Kent, near the east of London, in Bracknell, West London, and Wellingborough in the Midlands.

The Netherlands-based company said the opening of the new depot fitted its strategy of providing national coverage in the UK and “establishing close proximity with its customers while maximizing transport efficiency.”

The new location will be large enough to accommodate a broad range of aerial work platforms and offer IPAF certified and other training courses.

In addition, Riwal has moved its East London location to larger premises. This location was the second opened by Riwal in the UK, in April 2010, and it has now been outgrown. This depot is also home to the national hire desk.

Riwal’s country manager for the UK, Tim White, said the Wigan depot would be an excellent location for customers in the North West; “This coming in the same month as the relocation of our Kent depot to a larger facility with increased yard space and workshop providing for a bigger fleet holding and room for IPAF training."

Riwal was established in 1968 and runs a fleet of 13000 machines in17 countries.
