Rototilt has expanded its Rototilt Control (RC) concept product line, with the launch of new joysticks that have been specifically designed for use with machines fitted with tiltrotators.

The company unveiled its RC Joysticks at the Bauma construction exhibition, currently taking place in Munich, Germany.

Ergonomically designed for both male and female construction machine operators, they feature handles that are suitable for a range hand sizes, and a digital keypad that provides them with “scope for future adaptations in relation to the machine”.

Caroline Jonsson, Product Manager at Rototilt, said: “The design work has been both comprehensive and intensive, and we have set high standards to ensure ergonomics, user-friendliness and functionality. We are extremely proud of the product we are now launching.”

In keeping with other products from the company’s RC concept range, high efficiency, easy operability and operator comfort were the focus of the joysticks’ development.

According to Caroline, the things that users will notice most clearly are the patented angle adjustment and the palm rest.

The entire RC concept range comprises a series of upgraded tiltrotators with new pressure-compensated hydraulics, a new control system with display and a mobile app for remote support.

Designed to operate as a “complete system”, the RC concept is said to deliver greater precision than the manufacturer’s previous systems and is quicker and easier to install.

“The overall package will be perceived as much more agile, as it provides the user with complete control over the excavation movement,” said Caroline.

“We consider it only natural to be able to deliver a complete system of tiltrotators and control systems from the same manufacturer, to satisfy the industry’s high demands in respect of safety and CE marking.”

“The demands for new technology, operability and user-friendliness are constantly increasing. Rototilt Control is our response to the growing need we are witnessing on the market and above all, to the things we are hearing from the end users themselves.”
