Scholpp takes delivery of Demag AC 300-6

08 July 2019

German crane and transport rental firm Scholpp Kran and Transport has taken delivery of a Demag AC 300-6. It is the last of three Demag all terrain cranes the company purchased in 2018. The other two all terrains (which were delivered in 2018) comprised: an AC 220-5 and an AC 700-9.

“The Demag AC 300-6 impressed us with its flexible combination of range and performance. With the 80 m main boom fully extended, it still lifts up to 15 tonnes. This makes it the perfect assist crane for the assembly and disassembly of tower cranes,” said Martin Scholpp, managing partner of Scholpp Kran and Transport.

Scholpp will also use the Demag AC 300-6 for heavy cargo handling, bridge construction and lifting special load parts.

“The crane can handle jobs up to 78 m high or within a radius of 74 m without a jib - this is really sensational,” added Scholpp Kran and Transport’s regional operations manager Stuttgart, Stephan Burkhardt.
