Skanska in €110 million contract win

Swedish contractor Skanska has been awarded a SEK960 million (€110 million) contract to build a 43,000m2 shopping centre in Pori, Finland.

Investment company Renor Oy and Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance awarded the contract, which is scheduled for completion in the autumn of 2014.

The Puuvilla Shopping Centre will be among the ten biggest shopping centres in Finland when it has been built. Skanska said geo-energy would be used for heating and cooling the building.
