Operating a crane spreader has never been more user friendly thanks to the introduction of a new control system, according to its Swedish manufacturer Bromma Group.

The SCS3 builds on the foundation of Bromma SCS2, introduced in 2001, in that it is a comprehensive spreader control system.

However, there are some dramatic advances said Bromma, including, “a much higher level of user-friendliness, major advances in control and communications functionality, a significant simplification in electrical connections, a new on spreader touch-screen display, and the industry's first generation of spreader prognostics.”
