Sunbelt buys aerial assets of HiReach Pa.

20 June 2011

Sunbelt Rentals the US arm of the Ashtead Group has bought the majority of the assets of US aerial platform rental specialist the HiReach based in Pennsylvania.

The HiReach Group was founded by former Modern Group president Chris Pera and a group of investors in 2009 its fleet includes JLG rough-terrain scissorlifts, articulated booms, telescopic booms, telehandlers, electric scissors and industrial cranes.

Neither Ashtead or Sunbelt chose to go on the record about this deal but Access International understands that currently it is just the HiReach aerial fleet which has been purchased.
