Terex aerials service centres extend service to construction customers

The Terex Corporation's US based network of Service Centers, which were previously committed to serving Genie and Terex utility equipment, have extended their range to provide support and service for Terex construction equipment.

These locations, including the new 90000 sq ft facility in Stockton California, have been rebranded as Terex Service Centers.

Terex construction equipment owners who were previously distant from dealer service locations now have access to 16 Terex Service Centers. While those receiving regular support from their local dealer locations can continue to do so. By increasing the number of specially trained and equipped service professionals, Terex says it is committed to providing the best service possible.

Siva Balakrishnan, vice president and general manager of Global Services, Terex AWP said "Terex Service Centers are a key part of the network offered by our company," said. "By expanding offerings across our product lines, we can provide even better support to our customers and continuously improve upon success."

James Robbins, vice president and general manager, Terex Construction Americas said, "Terex Construction customers will see added benefits from these new locations. The increase in available service facilities will strengthen our existing support network, helping to reduce equipment downtime and putting workers back on the jobsite more quickly than ever before."

The new California centre consolidates the Modesto, Refurbishment Center and the Sacramento, Service Center to create a new, high-capacity facility to service all makes and models of aerial, utility and construction equipment for Western region customers.

It is a full service location providing refurbishment and reconditioning of aerial equipment, installation and transfers of utility equipment and full repair services for construction equipment. The centre offers advanced capabilities including a large paint booth, a small paint booth and a sponge blast booth. The large capacity of the new centre provides customers with more services in a single location, decreasing equipment downtime and designed to get customers back in the field as quickly as possible.

Terex service centers are located in: Seattle, and Spokane, Washington; Fontana, and Stockton, California; Phoenix, Arizona; Denver, Colorado; San Antonio, Waco, and Fort Worth, Texas; Portland, Oregon; Nashville, Tennessee.; Birmingham, Alabama; North Little Rock, Arkansas.; Richmond, Virginia; Fort Wayne, Indiana; and Charlotte, North Carolina.
