02 April 2012

Terex Equipment Services (TES) has relocated its Commerce City, CO location to a new site in Aurora, CO. The move expands the square footage from 5,400 square feet to 31,500 square feet.

"Our customers are increasingly expressing a need for repair and maintenance work performed by experts," said Siva Balakrishnan, Terex Aerial Work Platforms Vice President and General Manager, Global Services. "This expansion is integral to the Company's value proposition of continuing growth and delivering value-added services for customers in the Rocky Mountain region."

The facility will cater to all customers with service needs of Genie aerial equipment, Terex utility equipment and all other equipment. The new location offers upgraded air and overhead crane support which allows for inspection, repair and service for aerial, hydraulic, electric and hybrid equipment. The additional room also allows for easier movement and storage of the equipment, Terex AWP said.

The Colorado Service Center, celebrating its 10 year anniversary of doing business in Colorado, employs 20 experienced and highly-trained Team Members. The new facility's Branch Manager, Dave Vance, will report directly to Richard Gunderman, Director of Operations TES, Terex AWP.

There are currently 14 Terex Equipment Services centers and 200 field technicians located throughout the U.S. equipped to provide maintenance repair and reconditioning and refurbishment services for various makes and models of aerial, cranes, telehandlers, utility equipment, winches, service bodies and portable lighting.

Additional offerings include frequent and annual inspection services; maintenance contracts; warranty and service bulletin work; damage and routine repairs and insurance estimates.
