United Powered Access (UPA) has acquired three Manitou 280TJ telescopic booms.

The platforms, with a working height of 28 m, brings the UK rental company's fleet to 173 units.

Greg Miller, sales and operational director at UPA, said, “We already have some Manitou 100VJR vertical lift platforms in our fleet and they have proven to be very reliable for indoor working at height applications. Reconfiguring the fleet with these new vehicles is a logical step as the business continues to grow.”

United Powered Access was formed three years ago and is part of the CA Group of companies, a roofing and cladding manufacturer and installer based in County Durham.
