VIDEO: IRN100 analysis

31 August 2016

A short video highlighting key points from this year’s IRN100 ranking of the largest rental companies in the world is now available. Click on the image in this article to watch the analysis, with IRN editor Helen Wright.

The 2016 edition of the IRN100 was published in the June issue of IRN, based on rental revenues for 2015. A stand-alone extended special report on the table featuring extra data and analysis will be available soon.

With combined 2015 revenues of nearly €40 billion, the largest 100 rental companies in the world have worked hard to change and expand amid unpredictable global markets.

The vast majority of this growth came from rental companies that generate their revenues in the US - firms which were still enjoying a buoyant environment, at least until the second half when the oil and gas downturn started to bite.
