Volvo will be showing ten machines at Bauma China, including a new 20 tonne excavator built exclusively for the Chinese market. A full specification is not yet available, but the company said, "The 20 tonne excavator is China-customised in terms of application and suitability, and is highly fuel efficient and productive."

The company's stand will also feature a new asphalt paver and an upgraded line of compaction equipment.

Another highlight of Volvo's stand will be its excavator simulator, which visitors to the stand can practice their operator skills on. Those more interested in future developments meanwhile may be interested to see three concept machine models that the company will use to demonstrate futuristic concepts in construction equipment.
