WLP to launch dust suppression solutions

12 March 2013

Italian dust suppression specialist WLP will use bauama to introduce two new models of water cannon in the shape of the WLP 400 and its larger brother, the WLP 718.

The former is a compact and versatile machine with a throw of 20-30 m (66-99 ft) that only requires a 3 kW power supply and is an ideal solution for temporary use or small demolition sites. The 718 will become the company’s largest model and has a throw of 80-90 m (263-296 ft) on a power requirement of 18.5 kW.

The company says the design goals lying behind the new units include reducing pollution and associated negative impact on those near worksites, improving working conditions on the site itself and reducing water and pwer consumption to reduce operating costs.
