Worker dies after fall from scaffold

A 28-year-old man died May 27 after he fell three stories from scaffolding he was working on.

Adrien Zamora from Brooklyn was working at a Manhattan jobsite when he fell 40 feet from the scaffolding to the ground around 5 p.m. According to reports, Zamora was packing up after working all day at the 450 Broome St. location in New York which is having a facade restoration.

According to reports, Zamora was not wearing a harness or lanyard. He is survived by his wife and two children.

Zamora was employed with the Bras-Al Construction Corp.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating.
