World of Concrete opens

With blustery conditions as its foundation, World of Concrete 2016 has opened. Despite the unseasonably cool temperatures (mid-40 degrees), the weather hasn't stopped visitors from pouring into the aisles of the show.

Last year's event attracted more than 55,000 registrants and showcased just over 1,400 suppliers. Nearly 56,000 construction pros are pre-registered for this year's show, with almost 1,500 exhibitors filling more than 675,000 square feet of exhibit space.
