Construction manufacturer SDLG has unveiled its latest models at Bauma China, including two new concept machines.

These were the LG6460E excavator and the L9120F wheeled loader that have been designed at the company’s research and development centre at Linyi.

Its 36-tonne loader is a 6m3 unit featuring a hydro-shift transmission, 260 kN of breakout force and a high-torque engine meeting the region’s Tier 3 emissions standards.

The concept excavator, which also complies with Tier 3, weighs 44.5 tonnes with a 2.1m3 bucket capacity and offers an improved chassis design.

In total, the firm showcased nine machines at Bauma in Shanghai, ranging from the one tonne LG918 through to the 9-tonne LG989.

Among the range displayed at the international construction event was SDLG’s 30-tonne LG6300E excavator, which the company said had enjoyed partic success on sites including its use for the development of a high-speed rail line in Morocco.

Guo Shaohua, SDLG brand and communications director, explained that the company had ambitions of becoming the largest construction manufacturer in China.

He said, “We are a full line provider and are well-known for our wheeled loaders. But we also have a strong product portfolio spanning a wide range of other equipment.

“We wanted to give the market some insight into our future development plans, so we had several machines on display that are new, or recently released, plus two concept machines.”
