Record new scraper

04 September 2015

K-Tec Earthmovers has launched its largest construction pull scraper for large scale earthmoving. The company says the 1263 ADT is the largest earthmoving scraper available in the world today.

With a heaped capacity of 63 yd3 (48 m3) and empty weight of 61,000 lbs (27.7 tonnes), the K-Tec 1263 ADT is designed to be pulled by 40 ton+ Articulated Dump Truck (ADT). The hitch system transfers 32% of the scraper load weight directly to the point where the truck is designed to carry weight. An digital display screen in the cab gives visual operating details, tracks loads and productivity, and provides troubleshooting help.

The company said the K-Tec 1263 ADT could also be used as an excavator-loader hauler with the large target area making for easy and efficient loading. The unit replaces the K-Tec 1254 ADT with an additional 9 yd3 (6.9 m3) of capacity.
