Spanish rental company Altrasan Alquiler de Maquinaria is using the Bobcat new 250M Pressure Washer attachment for the first time in Spain, for street cleaning applications in the province of Pontevedra.

Altrasan, which is based in Tui in north west Spain, rents a wide range of equipment with or without operators in the Pontevedra region and northern Portugal.

The pressure washer is designed for use on compact loaders and is suitable for paved surfaces, and also has a washing handgun and a 20m hose reel. Bobcat said the handgun can be used from the cab to wash other machines, building entrances, tight spaces or even roofs.

Marco Alons, Owner and Manager of Altrasan, said, “This will be a good attachment for use in places with older town centres and reduced access streets. In addition to the application on public roads, street furniture can also be cleaned, including park benches, street signs and for Covid-19 disinfection work, in addition to cleaning our own machinery.

“We are thinking about the advantages that we can offer our rental clients who usually use tractors to pull huge bowsers, as there are many areas they cannot access, such as the historical centres of the Roman cities and towns that abound in Galicia, such as our home town, Tui.”

Bobcat said the pressure washer incorporates a ‘plug and play’ concept, which lets operates mount the attachment quickly and easily. The hydraulic power of the loader “guarantees” deep high-pressure water cleaning without a loss of power.
