Following this successful integration, FLG Services now has 24 service centres across the UK, offering lifting and safety equipment for hire or purchase.

Jeff Hudson, director of FLG Services said, “There were direct synergies between Interlift and FLG Services so the integration made perfect sense and by doing this we’ve created an enhanced lifting and safety division with a huge number of benefits for our customers. In effect, it’s very much business as usual and customers will not notice any direct impact or change as they will continue to deal with their usual contacts with the added benefit from a strengthened team with a vast amount of expertise and knowledge.

“Our combined fleet of equipment is bigger, better, younger and ready for all your lifting requirements. We also sell lifting equipment from recognised suppliers, repair and test equipment either on site or within anyone of our locations with the additional benefit of on-line access to view certification. The supply, installation and testing of overhead cranes is also readily available at FLG Services,’’ he added.

A-Plant also acquired Interlift’s online sales business The Rigging House which specialise in the sale of lifting equipment.
