A pan-European access rental conference, Europlatform, is being organised jointly by IRN ‘s sister magazine Access International and the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) and will take place in Basel, Switzerland on 11 September 2007.

The one day conference will focus fully on aerial platform safety and rental operations topics, with high-level presentations aimed at senior managers, executives and owners of access rental companies and training specialists.

One of the first confirmed topics is Responsible financial models for managing access rental assets, being presented by a senior figure at Lavendon Group.

Tim Whiteman, IPAF managing director, said Europlatform would be an essential event for access rental professionals; “As Europe's access business matures, it is essential for senior managers to obtain high quality information on rental operations and the latest thinking on safety policy. The seminars will be designed to give companies a business edge”.

Ticket prices are to be confirmed, but will be priced at around €200 for places booked more than two months in advance. For details, call IPAF's Basel office (+41 (0)61 225 4407) or Murray Pollok, IRN Editor (+44 (0)1505 850 043).
