Andrews Skyes opens Specialist Hire Division in Scotland

15 April 2014

Andrews Sykes Hire has opened a new service centre for its chiller and boiler hire range of equipment in Scotland under its Specialist Hire Division.

The new service facilities provided by Andrews Chiller Hire and Andrews Boiler Hire will operate out of Andrews Sykes’ existing Grangemouth depot.

The depot will provide emergency equipment to help alleviate the effects of in-plant downtime or when existing plant cannot cope due to increased productivity or is unable to handle local ambient environments or additional short-term chilled storage is required.

“The new Grangemouth service centre was an important addition to our extensive list of service centres,” said Carl Webb, director of the Andrews Specialist Hire Division.

“Engineers from Grangemouth will be able to uphold the company’s commitment of responding to a customers demand within four hours – the fast response means minimum plant downtime or help in maintaining a better working environment.”
