Access Platform Sales Ltd (APS), the UK distributor for Isoli, has introduced the UK's first PTJJ36.29 truck mounted boom.

The company will take it on a national roadshow that will see the unit visit potential customers, including rental companies, throughout March.

The Isoli PTJJ36.29 is a 36 m telescopic boom mounted on an 18 tonne two-axle truck. Features include a two-stage telescopic dual jib and four-position stabilisers with automatic working envelope control.

It has a maximum capacity of 400 kg and can achieve an outreach of 24 m, rising to 29 m with 120 kg safe working load. The platform has automatic self-levelling with enhanced memory functions and a home function, which automatically retracts the boom and takes the operator back to the memorised position.

Italian manufacturer Isoli previewed a prototype at Bauma 2013, dubbed the PTJJ36.27. It has since further developed the concept and the production model has an additional 2 m of outreach.

The APS – Isoli road show sets off from Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire on 3 March 2014 and will visit a number of key locations in the UK.
