Berlin date for demolition industry

07 December 2010

The annual German Demolition and Dismantling conference will once again be held in the Hotel Berlin, Berlin in, naturally enough, the German capital of Berlin, on 18 and 19 March, 2011. The event is now organised by the Deutscher Abbruchverband e.V (DA), who has taken over the highly successful event from previous organiser Dr Dieter Korth.

D&Ri recognised his achievement in establishing this event as the premiere German language event for the industry, as well as one of the world's largest gatherings of the industry's professionals. The DA is proud to take over from Dr Korth, and emphasises the fact that the event will be continued in the same way as it has been run since it was first held in 1995. This means that it is open to all comers who have an interest in the demolition sector.

The DA expects that there will be of the order of 20 presentations on new findings and technical development, in addition to a number of site reports that will detail a variety of demolition techniques. In addition, 50 exhibitors are expected to take part in the event, displaying a wide variety of equipment and services of interest to the delegates. The "Friei Bier" evening on the first evening of the event in the city's Old Pumphouse venue will continue as usual, and needs no translation into English.

The conference programme and registration forms will be available from January 2011. Further details will be available of the Deutscher Abbruchverband website, www.deutscher-abbruchverband.de, from this date.
