The STZ-MPA4 heading for the roadshow in the United Kingdom

German specialized transport equipment manufacturer Goldhofer is taking part in a joint road show with Mercedes Benz in Britain during 2014.

During the UK tour, Goldhofer will be showcasing the Goldhofer STZ-MPA 4 low loader semi-trailer with MPA axle technology and the new Arocs tractor.

“The STZ-MPA includes the MPA Troika,” the manufacturer said. “The axle comprises one wheel carrier, one strut and one suspension arm.” In addition, the trailer has a suspension stroke of 315 mm and a steering angle of up to 60 degrees.

The two manufacturers will be appearing at four plant and commercial vehicle trade shows, including ScotPlant in Edinburgh in 25 and 26 April, the Commercial Vehicle Show 2014 in Birmingham 28 April to 1 May, the Truckfest in Peterborough on 4 and 5 May, and on 14 and 15 May at Vertikal Days in Haydock Park.

Renato Ramella, Goldhofer sales manager Europe, said, “The MPA Roadshow is a real highlight for us and for Andover as our UK importer. We are convinced that our groundbreaking MPA axle technology will meet with a keen response in the United Kingdom, too.

“With the road show, we will be making local presentations for customers to give them an opportunity to see for themselves what this new technology is all about in an individual first-hand experience of the product.”
