John Warren new finance boss at Trojan Battery

US-based deep-cycle battery manufacturer Trojan Batteries has named John Warren as its new Chief Financial Officer, as of 1 December.

Mr Warren has been promoted to the role from the post of vice president of finance with Trojan. As CFO, he will be responsible for the financial management of the entire Trojan Battery organisation, including its subsidiary and master distributor Safe-Start.

Prior to joining Trojan Battery in 2006, Mr Warren served in a variety of financial operations management positions, including tenures with ConAgra Foods and Mattel Inc., where he was responsible for manufacturing and corporate finance, planning and analysis.

In these positions, he administered financial programmes for manufacturing facilities throughout the US, which included the development and implementation of reporting and analytics programmes in support of corporate business improvement programmes.

He holds an MBA from the Boston University Graduate School of Management with an emphasis in finance.
