Metso portable plant bound for Kazakhstan

Metso has won an order to supply its NW220GPD portable crushing and screening equipment to Saburkhan Technologies in Kazakhstan.

The company said this is one of the first containerised wheel-mounted crushing plants to be go overseas.

The equipment can be dismantled and packed into standard sea containers, so transporting it is quicker, easier and more economic.

“We were looking for an affordable, user-friendly solution that would make our operations more efficient,” said Berkut Mainin, technical director of Saburkhan.

“This portable crushing and screening plant was the right solution for us.”

The value of the order, which is being delivered in January, is undisclosed.

Eric Lavieville, Metso’s global product manager, portable plants said: “We aim to provide cost-efficient solutions without compromising quality. The NW series offers customers quality and safety for an affordable investment.”
