03 September 2013

Ramirent has outsourcing all of its scaffolding erection workers in Finland to Barona, an employment agency, and will now source all its scaffolding labour requirements from Barona.

The agreement sees 35 Ramirent scaffolders in Finland moving to Barona. Ramirent said it will require around 300 scaffolders a year from the agency.

Jorma Korhonen, head of project business unit in Ramirent Finland Oy, said; “Our target is to ensure that we will have the capability to provide our customers with competitive, high-quality and flexible scaffolding and access solutions in whole of Finland.

“The co-operation with Barona allows us to focus on project management and supervision, developing our core solutions further and strengthen our position in the market, while maintaining access to skilled scaffolders. “

Timo Ahola, vice president of Barona Construction Oy, said the company was pleased to have deepened its long cooperation with Ramirent; “Our vast experience in scaffolding installations and providing HR services ensures meeting Ramirent’s and its customers’ high quality requirements also in the future.

"This new type of cooperation is a good example of Barona’s successful service development.”
