Speedy appoints interim finance director

UK-based rental company Speedy Hire has appointed an interim finance director – former chief financial officer at UK outdoor equipment and clothing retailer Go Outdoors, Chris Morgan.

Speedy chief executive Russell Down said, “We are delighted that Chris is joining us as Interim Finance Director. He brings a wealth of finance experience and I am looking forward to working with him."

The appointment comes after Mr Down, formerly chief finance director at the company, took over as chief executive in the wake of the departure of Mark Rogerson this summer.
