Richard Tindale, sales and marketing director at UpRight is named exporter of the year for North East England

UpRight's sales and marketing director, Richard Tindale has been named Exporter of the Year for North East England.

Upright said that Mr Tindale had transformed the company's global sales through developing its distributor network and building strong ties with all its customers.

The award was sponsored by the Royal Bank of Scotland who praised Mr Tindale for his role in growing UpRight's export sales by 800%.

Mr Tindale said, "I am delighted to receive this award. It is deserved recognition for the hard work of the entire UpRight team over the past two years.

"We are experiencing tougher times right now, but we are close to our customers and the strength of those relationships will see us through any downturn."
