London's new cable car system

London's latest transport link, a cable car spanning the River Thames designed by the UK's Wilkinson Eyre, will provide a "low-emission, quick, direct and fully accessible link" connecting the Greenwich Peninsula and the O2 Arena with the Royal Victoria Docks and the ExCeL exhibition centre. The system will be constructed by a consortium lead by Mace.
